Todd Malamut
Todd Malamut is a 1993 graduate of the American University in Washington, DC. His major was Business, with an emphasis on Real Estate and Urban Development. During college, he interned as a research assistant for a local, commercial real estate firm. After graduation, Todd obtained his appraisal licenses and began work for one of the premier commercial appraisal firms in the Washington, DC Area, McPherson & Associates.
After nearly 1½ years as an appraiser, in 1994, Todd obtained his real estate agency licenses and began work at National Real Estate Brokerage. He is now Senior Vice President of the company and a licensed broker.
Todd has brokered, developed or consulted on over $100,000,000 worth of transactions.
Though his efforts have included the brokerage of nearly 200,000 square feet
of office or warehouse space, his focus has been on retail brokerage. Within
retail, he does landlord representation work, which is primarily in Georgetown,
and has brokered the sale of numerous properties. However, within retail brokerage,
his concentration has been and continues to be on the tenant/buyer side.
Todd's more notable clients have included: DSW Shoe Warehouse; The Sports Authority;
CVS/Pharmacy; Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins; and Circuit City. Currently, Todd’s
more notable clients include: BJ's Wholesale Club; Rite Aid; Mattress Warehouse;
Jerry’s Subs & Pizza; Party Depot; Redrock Canyon Grill; Eileen Fisher; and Noland
Plumbing.
Todd holds brokerage licenses in DC, MD and VA.
